Overall, the necklace is gorgeous, but don't be fooled by the look. I purchased this necklace, wore it about five times, kept it hanging in a dry location and after seven months, the necklace tarnished.

I reached out to customer service to ask about a replacement and was informed that They are not willing to replace their tarnished necklace since I purchased the necklace seven months ago, and not six months ago, which is in their replacement policy.

Overall, I'm very disappointed in the company. It's making me question the overall quality standards of the products they sell. In my mind, seven months of owning a necklace should not result in it tarnishing. That sounds like a quality issue in my mind for the price point they are selling their jewelry for. I'm willing to accept that not all quality can be 100% all of the time, but It's the way Uncommon James handled this issue and not being willing to rectify the situation, which causes me to not trust the company. I naïvely had faith that the company would uphold to their values and standards for the products they sell, I should’ve done my research first. So no thank you to the customer service line who offered me 10% off purchasing a brand new necklace, again, that had tarnished before. that is a gamble I'm not willing to take.
