How should I care for my candle?
For the best burn experience, keep the following in mind:
- The first time you light your candle, allow it to burn until the wax pool melts all the way to the edge; for a larger candle, this may take several hours. Wax has a memory, so if it is extinguished with a partial pool, that will prevent a full, even pool from forming in the future.
- Trim your wick each time you light the candle, removing any "bloom" from the previous burn. We recommend lighting a wick that is 1/4-1/2" in length.
- Ensure that your candle is placed on a heat-safe surface.
How many hours will UJ Candles burn for?
Our candle estimated burn times are as follows:
- 4 oz : 20 - 30 hours
- 10 oz: 50 - 75 hours
- 20 oz: 80 - 100 hours
- 36 oz: 150-200 hours
Please note that these burn times are based on use with proper candle care.

I am a huge candle person, it’s an addiction actually. After burning you can smell the beautiful aroma that’s not masculine or feminine but a good unisex mix. The candle burns super clean, even though the candle I bought wasn’t the largest one it can be smelled throughout my entire first floor. I’d love a super jumbo sized one and I will also be adding the perfume to my wish list! OC girl approved :)
