Kristin Cavallari’s Morning Skincare Routine

We know that you want the inside scoop on Kristin Cavallari’s morning skincare routine so we got the breakdown from our CEO, just for you. We know all her AM skin essentials, what order she uses them, and why she loves them so much. Feel free to copy her skincare routine then thank us later, your skin is sure to be glowing after this. 

Step 1 - Splash with water

Simple, easy, and done. Kristin doesn’t wash her face in the morning, but instead opts for a quick splash of water before applying skincare.  

Step 2 - Koji Pads

These skincare pads have Kojic Acid in them which Kristin says is “great for cell turnover, brightening, and keeping your skin looking fresh.” Can’t argue with that. They also help rid your skin of excess oil, evenly tones, and reduces the appearance of blemishes. 

You’ll notice that Kristin’s skincare routine really puts an emphasis on brightening. “The goal is always not to wear any face makeup,” she said. 

Step 3 - Enhanced Pineapple Peptide Nectar

This staple Uncommon Beauty serum has vitamin C and peptides in it. “It’s also brightening, it’s hydrating, it’s anti-aging,” she said. “It is the holy grail. Everybody should be using vitamin C and peptides.” 

Step 4 - Glutathione Serum

The serum that does it all. This innovative product all started when Kristin was talking with her doctor and learned that you can put Glutathione on your skin to help with sun spots. “That’s when I knew it’d be awesome as a skincare product and I had never seen anyone do it before,” she shared.

This antioxidant-enriched serum leaves skin with a youthful, hydrated, radiant, and more even complexion. The hero ingredient, glutathione, is a brightening antioxidant that reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It also has other ingredients your skin knows and loves like hyaluronic acid, ascorbic acid, and kojic acid (which you may recognize from the Koji Pads in step 2!).

“It is quite literally changing people's skin,” she said. It’s really good for anti-aging and she feels like it just fills in all those fine lines. Kristin also makes sure to use the Glutathione Serum on her chest since skincare doesn’t stop with your face. 

Step 5 - Glowing Complexion Serum OR Deep Hydration Serum

For this step, Kristin alternates between the Glowing Complexion Serum or the Deep Hydration Serum depending on what her skin needs or the time of year.

“If I’m not going to be wearing makeup and I just want my natural skin to glow and shine through, this is the product I’m definitely going to use,” she said about the Glowing Complexion Serum. It’s great for pigmentation and she finds it to also be really hydrating. It really just gives you glazed, glowy, dewy skin. 

The Deep Hydration Serum is great if your skin could really use an extra hydration boost. It’s good for in the middle of winter, or “when you’ve been in the sun all day, that’s when I really like to use it,” Kristin said. 

Step 7 - Enhanced Daily Water Cream

“This is the best moisturizer,” Kristin said. She said it’s hydrating, helps fill in fine lines, and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on the skin.
