This necklace is pretty dainty. I purchased it because it goes well with some of the other Uncommon James necklaces I own. I use it as a layering piece. I’m not sure I would wear it on its own just because it’s so small. But if you want something that is small to wear alone, it would work well too. I’m happy that I purchased it.

My husband had purchased another UJ necklace for me less than a year ago which would come apart from the slightest tug. Thinking it was a one off issue, I went back and forth with UJ’s customer support team to get a new necklace. The replacement was no better. Wanting to give UJ another chance, I purchased the rainbow necklace at the Charleston location. The rainbow necklace did the same thing and came apart where the chain connects to the charm. The price point of UJ’s jewelry is too high for such poor quality. I'll never be buying from this company again.

I bought this as a 30th birthday gift for my partner. She loves it and it is so so cute. But the chain broke within 3 weeks of her wearing it. It never got snagged or anything or twisted, she just went to adjust the charm and the chain broke abut an inch from the clasp. Super cute but to flimsy of a chain :(
