Is Uncommon Beauty a clean beauty brand?
The Uncommon Clean mission is to create clean, safe, and transparent skincare and fragrance products that you can feel confident using time and time again. While there’s no finite definition of “clean skincare” or “clean fragrance,” we hold our formulas to extremely high standards — everything must be vegan, Leaping Bunny certified, gluten free, silicone free, sulfate free, paraben free, petrolatum free, and phthalate free. Additionally, all skincare is fragrance free, our eau de parfum is EWG verified, and we banned over 2,700 ingredients from our skincare and fragrance product formulations that do not align with our standards. We are also 100% transparent about every ingredient in our skincare and fragrance formulas — nothing’s a secret here.

Are your products fragrance free?
All of our skincare products are fragrance free. Specifically, they are created without synthetic fragrances. If you notice a product has a scent, that’s because of the real ingredients we use. For example, if the Enhanced Pineapple Peptide Nectar has a pineapple scent, that’s because we use pineapple extract in it!

So, I am a bit older....55. .I can't believe it either, but I am. I checked out all kinds of products to use on my face, and if anyone had told me, I would give a 5 star rating on any face oil, well, let's just say, I would have ran from anything with the word "oil" in it. Heck, my nose is usually shining so bright, it could lead Santa's sleigh! So, I first bought a travel size of the Face Oil. Then, once I was sold, which did not take long, O bought my full size bottle of Face Oil. I absolutely love the way my skin feels after applying it at night. It does not leave my face oily at all. It actually has brought my face "back to life"...like all my pores were so thirsty, and this stuff just replenishes everything my 55 yo face seems to need. And, I immediately got online this morning ( after tipping my bottle of Face Oil over last night, and got distracted, and didn't know I had lost all my it down the sink), and ordered me a whole new bottle. And, they get it ready and sent out quick!! Good , no, Great stuff!!!!

I’ve been using the Face Oil along with a gua-sha for about 2 weeks now and was nervous the oil would cause breakouts. No breakouts! And this stuff makes my super dry skin look amazing. The only reason for 4 stars is because it contains cannabis sativa oil which gives it a faint odor of marijuana.

I’ve never considered using face oil until I saw it on UJ. I agree with another reviewer in that it does have an odd smell, but I don’t think it lingers. It’s made my skin soft and I’ll use it throughout the winter. I’ll see how it feels on my skin when it’s warmer out in the summer. But so far so good.
